Our newest column in Estate Life magazines explores a different wine region each month brought to you A.J. McClellan, founder of Roots and Water, Dallas’ premier wine brokerage and wine club for people that love wine or are trying to learn more about wine.
A.J. is a Certified Sommelier whose experience prior to founding Roots and Water includes serving as a Sommelier for the Five Star Mansion on Turtle Creek, the Wine Director for Nove Italiano, and over 10 years as a wine broker selling old and rare wines.
The public is invited to explore and purchase wines at Roots and Water’s wine room located at 2200 Vantage Street, during daytime operating hours. Vintage wine selections, small production cult wines and affordable wines for everyday enjoyment are offered. The personal sommeliers joining A.J. on staff at Roots and Water also have deep connections in the wine world and can source almost any bottle you are looking for.
Annual club memberships at Roots and Water private members only clubhouse are sold out, with a waiting list to join as the limited spots become available, but the publishers of Estate Life have arranged for members of their newly formed Savvy Cellar Wine Club to be invited to pop-up tastings and special events at the Roots and Water wine room and clubhouse.
