Texas dominates RCLCO’s 2023 list of the 50 top-selling neighborhoods in the nation for 2023. 21 of the 50 neighborhoods are located in Texas.
Every year since 1994, RCLCO’s national survey identifies the top-selling master-planned communities (MPCs). This initiative, commends the most successful communities in the country. It serves as a tool for monitoring the overall health of the for-sale housing industry. And it’s a means of highlighting the trends affecting communities large and small.
Houston was the top performing MSA on the list with 12 communities in the Top-50
Houston’s activity represented nearly 7,900 sales, or 22% of all sales among top-ranked MPCs. Home builders in Katy’s Sunterra offered to partly shoulder the burden of interest rates. The developers say the buy downs helped Sunterra finish #3 on RCLCO’s list. Sunterra’s impressive 1,293 sales was a 63% increase from the previous year.
