RAM trucks is promoting new colors, new aesthetic options and a new RAM Rebel—their increasingly recognized off-road edition among its 1500 series.
Truck owners are known for putting their personal touches on their vehicles, and RAM owners especially embody the individualistic, stick-out-in-the-crowd mentality. Parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is aware of this successful reputation as it forges further into the American half-ton truck market, backed by segment-leading customer loyalty. To fuel that loyalty, RAM has made a habit of adapting to their customers’ opinions.
Most notably is perhaps the Night trim level that substitutes much of the RAM truck line’s chrome aesthetic for an aftermarket, blacked-out look straight from the factory. Although it’s based on the Sport trim level, the Night package features much of the aggressive contrasting we find on the Rebel in place of the signature monochromatic Sport color scheme.

RAM continues in the direction of providing alternatives to the standard bright chrome accents, now with the introduction of body color “R-A-M” nameplates for the extremely large tailgate decal on the tailgate on Limited trim level 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups. Chrome is still standard, but the monochromatic theme is an important option for buyers on the fence about either a more classic Laramie Longhorn or the city-slick Limited.

Color is important in attracting RAM buyers. This spring, RAM announced that RV Match Walnut Brown will serve as the new two-tone contrast color, replacing White Gold. The Ram Laramie Longhorn editions will utilize this new color on the wheel flares, front and rear bumpers along with the running boards. Also new to the lineup is a new, refined Delmonico Red color. Featured boldly on the Ram Rebel, but equally copacetic on a dusty two-tone Laramie, Delmonico is sure to be well-stocked by dealers for its versatility and universal appeal. Ram 1500 Rebel Delmonico Red can also be ordered with the Rebel Black (black wheels and front skid plate) appearance package.
