ReGen & Aesthetics Concierge of Texas: Addressing the Root Cause

Dedicated to Helping Those Who Serve and Protect Our Communities
First responders and military are uniquely exposed to traumatic and high-stress situations on a regular basis, putting them at increased risk for developing PTSD, anxiety and depression. The constant exposure to life-threatening events, violence, and suffering takes a toll on their mental health. And this impacts not only the personal well-being of those who served. Their families also often bear the weight of the emotional and psychological strain that comes with the job.
“Traditional approaches to treating PTSD, anxiety and depression often focus on prescribing medications and counseling. But these treatments rarely address the root cause, which is the broken anatomy of the brain. It’s like trying to treat the compound fracture of the femur. If you break your femur, the first step isn’t physical therapy. It’s surgery to realign the bone and fix the anatomy. Only after the bone has been set can physical therapy be effective,” said Natalie Ray, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Founder at Re-Gen Aesthetics Concierge of Texas.
“The brain works a similar way. To truly heal from PTSD and depression, the neurochemistry and neuronal connections that have been damaged must first be repaired. Once the brain’s anatomy is restored, counseling and other therapies can have a meaningful impact, supporting long-term recovery.”
The Science Behind the Treatment
ReGen & Aesthetics Concierge of Texas implements a comprehensive protocol designed to restore balance to both the mind and body. If conventional therapies have not provided the relief you need, this combined treatment protocol may be your breakthrough. By integrating both Stellate Ganglinon Block (SGB) and ketamine therapy, ReGen tackles PTSD and anxiety from multiple angles.
Understanding your body’s unique needs is key to customizing your treatment. So, the 3-week treatment program starts with a thorough consultation and comprehensive lab work to identify areas for optimization. The labwork checks over 100 biomarkers, which is far more comprehensive than normally offered by a family physician.

Bilateral Stellate Ganglion Block sessions
Treatment starts with two SBG sessionscheduled over two days (one side each day). SGB targets the body’s fight-or-flight response by calming the brain and resetting the overactive sympathetic nervous system, often stuck in overdrive in individuals suffering from PTSD. SGB involves injecting a local anesthetic into the stellate ganglion, a nerve bundle in the neck.
By calming this overactive system, SGB helps reduce symptoms like hyperarousal, anxiety, and emotional numbness.

Ketamine Infusion Therapy sessions
Over the 2-3 weeks following the two SGB sessions, patients then receive a series of six Ketamine infusion sessions. Ketamine modulates NMDA receptors in the brain, which regulate mood and pain. The infusion treatments promote growth of new neuronal connections and restore balance to neurotransmitters, allowing the brain to heal from trauma. And unlike traditional antidepressants, ketamine has a rapid impact, often within hours.
During the 30-minute recovery period after the ketamine treatments, patients receive an anti-inflammatory IV infusion to optimize and stabilize results.
