MEET NATALIE RAY OF AESTHETICS CONCIERGE

Stay Safe by Staying at Home

Let Aesthetics Concierge of Texas Come to You!

Have you neglected your normal beauty routine since last spring’s pandemic?  Even if you’re staying home this holiday season, looking your best can brighten your holiday spirit.

No worries if you have anxiety about going out beyond taking care of the absolute essentials for keeping your family going.   Long before we ever heard of Covid-19, Aesthetics Concierge of Texas was providing its services in the comfort and convenience of their clients’ homes.

“Our busy clients have always appreciated that our Nurse Practitioners bring the highest level of knowledge, care, and experience to the comfort of their homes.  We work around their schedules and bring everything needed with us for the treatment plan that we specifically cater to their individual needs,” said owner Natalie Ray, who is based in Preston Hollow and serves clients in Preston Hollow, HP, UP, Lakewood, Dallas and Las Colinas.

“We were able to resume seeing clients late last spring by assuring that our providers wear N-95 masks, disinfect all equipment, and adhere to aseptic techniques for maximum client safety.  So now, we offer the same comfort and convenience as before, and have attracted new clients who appreciate that we offer a safe stay-at-home solution.”

Clients that haven’t used Botox or filler before may have a lot of questions that Natalie and her team do a great job answering.  She explains that Botox is used for wrinkles that develop due to muscle movement.  Often called “expression lines,” Botox can treat what are known as “dynamic wrinkles,”  like the “11” between the brows, horizontal lines on the forehead and crow’s feet around the eyes.  Aesthetics concierge also offers a different brand name called Xeomin by Merz that is a competitor for Botox, which is a product of Allergan.

Botox or Xeomin will not work to treat the fine lines and wrinkles caused by sagging or loss of plumpness in the face. These “static wrinkles” include lines in the cheeks, neck, and jowl areas.  This is where dermal fillers injected beneath the surface of the skin can be used –to plump up thinning lips, enhance or fill in shallow areas on the face, decrease or remove the shadow or wrinkle under the eyes caused by the lower eyelid, even to fill in or soften the look of recessed scars.  Kybella is another FDA-approved injectable treatment to reduce fat under the chin, permanently destroying these fat cells to improve your profile.

As a young mother of five young children herself, Natalie is an example of the wonderful but subtle benefits derived  from taking a conservative approach to treatment.   Repeated treatments are necessary for continued wrinkle-reducing effects. Most people find that the muscle-relaxing effect of Botox lasts for three to four months and filler is typically done about every nine to twelve months.  Kybella usually requires just two treatments six weeks apart.

“We’ve all seen examples of overdoing it with Botox and filler products.  Our clientele would be horrified at the thought of looking fake or making it obvious that they are getting Botox and filler treatments, ”  she said. “Using a qualified medical provider helps ensure the procedure is done safely and properly.  We take pride in the fact that all of our providers have completed Doctorate or Masters level medical education programs.”

Another important part of Aesthetics Concierge’s service is making sure that its clients follow a daily skin care regimen to reap the maximum benefit of improving the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, uneven texture, and sun-damage.  “We have recently switched over to using AlumierMD prescription skin care, because we see them pulling ahead of their competitors by their use of safe, cutting edge, medical grade, clinically proven ingredients,” Natalie said.  These include Vitamin C&E, Peptides, Growth Factors, Antioxidants, Retinol, Pigment Inhibitors, and low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid to bring you unparalleled results.

AlumierMD chemical peels containing alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids, trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and retinol are recommended for some clients, and these are also administered by Aesthetics Concierge Nurse Practitioners in clients’ homes.  Chemical peels work by decreasing the pH, which loosens the connections between dead skin cells, inducing exfoliation and stimulating new cell growth. This process causes superficial layers of dead skin to peel off, revealing a smoother and more radiant complexion. Chemical peels can also thicken the epidermis, increase dermal volume and stimulate collagen.  Once again, regimens for ultimate skin care and rejuvenation are tailored to each client’s unique and specific skin needs.

You may be surprised to learn that men make up a good percentage of Aesthetics Concierge client base.  Men’s Health magazine reports that there has been a 27 percent increase in the number of men using Botox over the past 10 years and a number of those are also using fillers to improve cheeks, jawlines and temples. “As social media and Zoom calls become a mainstay for communicating with clients, I think even more men will consider the benefits,” Natalie said.
