Engaging Children in the Power of Music

DSOL’s Early 2025 Events Are Key Support for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Outreach Programs

Founded in 1946, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League (DSOL) supports the Dallas Symphony Orchestra through dedicated service, education, and fundraising activities. The League has contributed over $23 million to the Dallas Symphony Association’s Community Outreach and Education programs. DSOL’s work brings the magic of the symphony to thousands of young people and adults across the Dallas Metroplex.

Last year 2700 students attended the Junior Symphony Ball and raised nearly $500,000.

It’s led by high school leadership and hosted by the DSOL. The 67th Annual Junior Symphony Ball promises even more! The Junior Symphony Ball fundraising event brings together students from over 35 Dallas area schools. Together, they enjoy an evening filled with live music, dancing, professionally staffed gaming tables, raffles, prizes, and refreshments.

High school sophomores, juniors, and seniors can purchase general admission tickets starting January 8, 2025. Tickets are $175 on the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League website.

This year, Detroit native Brandon Williams, known globally as 13LACKBEARD, will headline the event.  He takes over the iconic Gilley’s Dallas for the event on February 1, 2025.

A powerhouse performer, visionary artist, producer and DJ, 13LACKBEARD rocks the stage. He has performed alongside icons like Beyoncé, The Eagles, Taylor Swift and others. His high-profile career hit new heights as Nelly’s official DJ for the “Lil Bit of Music Series.” That was followed by his electrifying performances on the Mount Westmore Tour with legends Ice Cube, Too Short, and Snoop Dogg.

But 13LACKBEARD doesn’t stop there! As the official DJ for the Dallas Cowboys, he turns game day into a spectacle like no other. Hyping over 50,000 fans, alongside the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and the Rhythm & Blue Drumline, 13LACKBEARD delivers. From the first note to the final whistle, he’s the heartbeat of the Dallas Cowboys game-day excitement.
