Dallas Commemorates Titanic’s Fateful Maiden Voyage

Due to popular demand, Titanic: The Exhibition is docked in Dallas through September 1, 2025.  The Dallas exhibition is located at 14902 Preston Road (corner of Preston and Belt Line). Tickets are available for purchase online at TheTitanicExhibition.com.

April 10th marked the anniversary of Titanic’s departure in 1912 and the arrival of the Exhibition in Dallas. A solemn wreath-laying ceremony held at White Rock Lake was presented by the United States Coast Guard in collaboration with the White Rock Boat Club.

The event featured a moving rendition of “Nearer, My God, To Thee.” A quartet from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra echoed the final moments aboard Titanic.

The anniversary commemoration weekend continued with a special screening of James Cameron’s Titanic at The Texas Theatre. Titanic Explorer and Exhibition Creative Producer Mark Lach, participated in the final expedition to the Titanic wreck site. He offered introductory remarks and hosted a live audience Q&A following the film.
 

A testament to the ongoing fascination with the world’s most legendary ship

Titanic: The Exhibition has sold more than 100,000 tickets from guests across 36 states. It offers an interactive, chronological journey through the creation, launch, maiden voyage, and tragedy of the RMS Titanic. With hundreds of artifacts and recreations of the ship’s interior—including the famous Grand Staircase, First and Third-Class cabins, and a simulated promenade deck beneath a starry sky—the exhibition provides a deeply immersive and emotional experience.
