Christmas Lighting –a Beloved and Festive Apect of a City’s Holiday Season

In Highland Park, estates donned with extravagant Christmas lighting and decorations attract thousands of visitors who drive or take horse-drawn carriages through the streets.  Arlington’s Interlochen neighborhood and the Fort Worth neighborhoods of Ryan Place and Berkeley Place are also known for their stunning residential holiday light displays.

Look for work by Anglo Star along the carriage route in Highland Park this year.

For some, tree lighting service opportunities lead to seasonal work. And the seasonal work brings requests from happy clients that blossoms into year-round business.  Bob Doviak says Anglo Star Christmas Lights started by accident.

In the winter of 2006, Bob Doviak had just completed decorating his own home in University Park when a neighboring family asked him to decorate their home for the holidays. Soon more neighbors caught word that Bob was offering custom home lighting, and business flourished from there.

Anglo Star Christmas Lights offers lighting services for houses and businesses of all sizes

Christmas Lighting
Bob Doviak started Anglo Star Christmas Lights with the help of family.  The oldest and spunkiest crew member is his trusty black lab Thor. He now has over over a dozen year-round employees and adds on seasonal workers  during the peak lighting season.

Now, hundreds of homes and almost 20 years later, business is booming. And the business also offers a number of other services during the holidays, including interior holiday decorating (custom garland, wreaths, etc.) and firewood delivery to warm your home and create a genuine Christmas feeling. Beyond the Christmas season, Anglo Star services include landscape lighting, tree trimming, gutter cleaning, roof repairs and replacements, and some smaller construction projects.
