LIFE ON THE ESTATE is a fun way to present Dallas’ social and charity event news and offer tips and resources for the city’s most active and influential residents.
It has been our pleasure to publish Estate Life (which changed its name to Stroll last summer) for two of Dallas’ most fabulous neighborhoods, an adventure we began in nearly 10 years ago. We have been introduced to so many fascinating people throughout these years. Interviewing individuals and family members for the feature stories truly opened our eyes to the wonderful spirit and generosity of our community.
With the November wrap of Stoll Old Preston Hollow/Bluffview and the December wrap of Stroll Highland Park, the time has come for us to move on to our next venture. Beverly looks forward to putting a full-time focus on her calling as a journalist and author. Her specialty in telling “the back stories”—how and why people became passionate about what they represent in the world will continue on thesavvylist.com and provide the subject matter for The Savvy Life podcast.
LIFE ON THE ESTATE is one of several “docu-dramas” we will feature across the various channels on thesavvylist.com. Featured characters include LIFE ON THE ESTATE’S Danelle and Dash DeVille, whose lives revolve around supporting the charitable causes they care about, minding the manor, living and looking their best, and arriving in style wherever they go. They mix and mingle with real-life leaders, and our 10 year tenure with the neighborhood publications arms us with plentiful tips and resources to the best of the best service-providers in our community and many one-of-a-kind resources.
Similarly, LIFE ON THE SITE chronicles the home building development activity of the real-life characters behind Standing Stone Development Group and the pros they collaborate with to build and remodel homes in Dallas. With more than 25+ years publishing DFW’s homebuilding industry publication, Building Savvy, once again, we are able to share our extensive list of contacts for any type of home-related service or inspiration you seek.
Also on The Savvy List, you’ll meet the cast of characters featured in the two historical fiction novels that Beverly co-authored and in the developing TV series set in the Smirnis’ beloved destination of Tulum. Through these characters’ eyes we learn important life lessons, share slices of life from eras past, and aspire to open minds to different ways of looking at life.
